Nueva Ecija Day, September 2

"Unang Sigaw" was the revolt staged by some 3,000 revolutionaries from Cabiao and Gapan led by General Mariano Llanera and General Pantaleon Valmonte, centered on the Spanish garrison in San Isidro town on September 2, 1896.

    Emilio Aguinaldo once set up the Philippine government in San Isidro prior to Malolos.
